Coaches’ Radio Shows to be Held at Celebration Pointe

GAINESVILLE, Fla; July 2, 2018…Celebration Pointe, north central Florida’s premier mixed-use development prominently located at I-75 and Archer Road in Gainesville, today announced a comprehensive partnership program with the University of Florida Gators, including hosting Gator Talk radio shows with UF football and basketball coaches. The campaign is being branded as: “Celebration Pointe, Where Gators come to Celebrate.”

The programs, broadcast on 38 radio affiliates statewide, will feature the respective coaches discussing both recent games and upcoming opponents. It will be held on the stage at City Walk the heart of Celebration Pointe.

There are more than 3.5 million Gators’ fans statewide and based on data from highly-respected Scarborough Research. These fans will be pre-disposed to enjoy Celebration Pointe’s unique setting and combination of retail, restaurants and entertainment unlike any mixed-use development in the region. For example, Scarborough determined that Gators’ fans:

• Are 87 percent more likely than non-Gators’ fans to have eaten in a sit-down restaurant 10+ times in the past 30 days
• Are 48 percent more likely than non-Gators’ fans to have attended a movie 4+ times in the past 30 days
• Agree at 57 percent clip that shopping used to be more enjoyable

Today’s announcement follows multiple new openings at Celebration Pointe, including Tommy Hilfiger, Nike Factory Store, Kilwins and a 10-screen, state-of-the-art Regal Cinemas RPX theater. Many more new, exciting openings will follow during 2018.
