Dogs Welcome! Top Fido Friendly Spots in Gainesville

Nowadays most folks are getting more quality time than ever with their dogs – and that’s a great thing! Nevertheless, more togetherness means getting a bit more creative about what to do with your dog to maximize this quality time. Celebration Pointe prides itself on being a dog friendly establishment. Whether it is a shop, restaurant or a pet friendly hotel, Celebration Pointe wants you and your dog to enjoy yourselves to the fullest!

Bass Pro Shops

For the folks who love the outdoors, Bass Pro Shops is the spot for you. Bass Pro Shops has hunting, fishing, and camping gear for any wilderness trip you may have in mind. We know you love taking your dog with you, but can you shop for camping trips with your dog? Absolutely! Bass Pro Shops is dog friendly so you don’t have to worry about shopping without fido. Your dog may even give you a second opinion on what to buy!

The Keys

The Keys Grill & Piano Bar is a dog friendly restaurant that brings an array of authentic seafood with a Key West vibe to Gainesville. Enjoy the festive music while you dine in a relaxed atmosphere. They even provide water bowls for your dog while you dine outside, and that’s a necessity on a hot, and humid Gainesville day.

Pet Friendly Hotels at Celebration Pointe

Hotel Indigo is a boutique establishment that refers to itself as a pet-preferred place to stay. Their tagline is “pawsitively perfect for your pet” and we couldn’t agree more!

Feel free to bring your dog when you stay at Hōm Hotel. Let Hōm be your dog’s home away from home!

When you stay at either hotel, you will be able to access shops, restaurants, and the dog friendly atmosphere that exists at Celebration Pointe. It truly is the place to be!

Dog Parks in Gainesville

Celebration Pointe Dog Park has enough enclosed space for you and your dog to run around (8,000 square feet!) while also having climbing structures, a shaded area for dog owners, and water stations. The park is free to use and open from sunrise to sunset every day of the week. Make some new fur friends while you’re there – Woof!

Gainesville is fortunate enough to have warm weather all-year round, which makes it a great place to raise a dog. There are many opportunities to be outdoors at places like Devil’s Milhopper or Depot Park. For those that want to go to an enclosed dog park in Gainesville, check out Tom Petty Park and Possum Creek Park. If you’re ready for an adventure, Archer Braid Trail is 6 miles long!

Quality Time With Your Dog

Celebration Pointe is a place where you and your dog can both enjoy yourselves. Walking on the promenade, dining at a restaurant, or frolicking at the dog park will mean the world to your dog. We can’t wait to see you and your furry friend soon. If you take a photo with your beloved pooch, be sure to tag us @celebrationpointe on Instagram, or Celebration Pointe on Facebook!
