Our most recent opening is definitely the sweetest. Le Macaron is now serving simple, elegant French pastries of all types, not just the colorful macarons that are their namesake. Regarding the grand opening, owner and 30-year veteran, Peter Amato said, “I’m pursuing my dream.” That’s perfect because our dream is to never be too far from a good macaron.

The Head Ball Coach is back in Gainesville, and he’s changing the restaurant game with his part-restaurant, part-football museum concept, Steve Spurrier’s Gridiron Grille Restaurant. Coach doesn’t hold back on anything he does, and this time is no different. According to business manager Freddie Wehbe, “When you walk in, you’re gonna feel a factor of ‘wow.’ You’re going to see contemporary design with an old school look to it.”
Part restaurant, part museum, you’ll admire artifacts from Spurrier’s decades-long career as a phenomenal player and coach before sitting down to an elevated American-casual meal. Or head up to the rooftop bar, Visors, to celebrate camaraderie while overlooking The Promenade.
